HOW IT WORKS

One entry, three lives, 100% burned

Players pay a flat $0.50 tournament entry fee for a single scored attempt, granting 3 lives to post the best run they can. Entry is paid only in $TOKENS (priced live at the moment of payment) — SOL is not accepted for entry.

100% of every $TOKENS entry is sent straight to the burn vault and burned. Entry fees are pure deflation for $TOKENS — they do not fund the prize pool.

Burns are executed manually by the Retro Arcade team during this early test phase, and every burn is published on-chain for full transparency.

PRIZES

1st place wins, funded by creator fees

Each Arcade Cabinet runs its own independent 7-day skill tournament with its own leaderboard. Your best score during the cycle sets your rank.

The prize pool is not the entry fees. Those are burned in full. Prizes are paid instead from the $TOKENS creator fees that accrue to the project wallet.

At the close of each week, 80% of the creator fees in the project wallet is set aside as the prize pool. That pool is divided evenly across every cabinet in the arcade, and each cabinet's share goes to the player at the top of its leaderboard.

The 80% is fixed. The per-cabinet share scales with the arcade: with eight cabinets live today, each winner takes 10% of creator fees. As more cabinets open, the same 80% is spread across more boards and more winners.

Prizes are paid in SOL, sent manually by the Retro Arcade team each week after leaderboard scores are verified — screening out farming, exploits, and other disqualifying activity so real skill is rewarded.

This payout model is in an early test phase; the team may later route creator fees to a dedicated prize vault. See the full Tournament Rules for eligibility, scoring, and dispute details.
